Beth Ann Fennelly
Thursday, April 30 at 7 p.m., award-winning poet and essayist Beth Ann Fennelly will read from her book, “The Irish Goodbye: Micro-Memoirs” in the èצӰ Morgan Library. Poet Laureate of Mississippi from 2016-2021, she has received international honors, including a Fulbright to Brazil. Fennelly teaches in the MFA Program at the University of Mississippi, where she has won four teaching awards. She’s received grants from the N.E.A., the United States Artists, the Academy of American Poets, and a Fulbright to Brazil. Her work has won a Pushcart Prize and three times been included in The Best American Poetry Series.
