This Author Reading, sponsored by the Winona Christian Writesr Conference, is free and open to the public! This year, we’re proud to feature award-winning children’s and YA author Gary Schmidt and memoirist Stephen Copeland. Schmidt has received national acclaim (including two Newbery Honors and a Printz Award) for his coming-of-age novels and historical fiction, such as The Wednesday Wars, Orbiting Jupiter, and Lizzie Bright and the Buckminster Boy. Copeland is a èצӰÏñalum and author of works including In the House of Rising Sounds and Where the Colors Blend. Complimentary coffee and cookies will be served.
